Summary
For the “Test Hardware” department, we are looking for a “Hardware Developer for Test System Automation (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The team, consisting of approx. 25 employees, designs, develops, constructs and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare and avionics systems for vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and ships. The test systems typically consist of a 19” rack based on purchased components with project-specific plug-in units and an electrical, mechanical and thermal test adaptation to simulate the real application.

Your Tasks

  • Design and implementation of a basic concept for the automation of test systems
  • Analysis of existing test systems and identification of automation potentials
  • Selection of suitable tools and technologies for the automation of test systems
  • Integration of test system automation activities into the existing development process
  • Documentation of the developed automation solutions and best practices

Willingness to travel is required.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of mechatronics / electrical engineering / communications engineering or comparable
  • Several years of knowledge in automation technology
  • Knowledge of measurement technology and HF measurement technology
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP & PLM
  • Enjoy teamwork and finding innovative solutions
  • Fluency in German and advanced knowledge of English
