Job Description

Support the product development of Enpal’s Heat Pump products, contributing to the delivery of high-volume energy/consumer products into the market. This role involves assisting with the onboarding of standard products, focusing on installation ease, cost-efficiency, and essential features, as well as supporting the development of the next generation of heat pumps in collaboration with our suppliers and software development teams.

  • Participate in applying DfX criteria (Design for Manufacturability, Installation, Testability, Volume, Serviceability, and Functionality) in daily work practices.
  • Assist in developing product roadmaps and basic designs for co-development with partners, supporting the journey from design concepts to market launch.
  • Contribute to the testing & quality assurance strategy, including testing plans and procedures, in collaboration with Commercial, Supply Chain and Portfolio Management stakeholders at Enpal.
  • Work together with our Software Development team to enable the integration of heat pumps into Enpal’s energy management system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field.
  • Some hands-on experience in heat pump technology (hardware and / or software) from e.g. internships.
  • A keen interest in product development and a desire to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn about and contribute to technology roadmaps.
  • Willingness to dig in and to indepedently develop skills beyond your current field of expertise.
