JOB SUMMARY:

The Hardware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in hardware design, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Clearance Requirement: Secret
  • Minimum Skills Required:
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and circuit simulation software.
  • Experience in hardware design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).
  • Understanding of electronics, microprocessors, and embedded systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Ground Based Radars
  • Experience in Systems Engineering Processes

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primarily office-based, with occasional lab facility visits.
  • May require occasional travel to sites or client locations.
