You will… Take full ownership of hardware development across all product lines Manage hardware engineering contractors, review designs, and guide technical decisions Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge hardware technologies to strengthen our competitive edge Continuously improve product performance in terms of Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWAP-C) Design and introduce new components that expand product capabilities Work with diverse RF communication technologies, modems, antennas, and RF-signal chains Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) and production processes, ensuring smooth transition from development to mass production while maintaining quality and manufacturability Build and manage the hardware development roadmap, making strategic trade-off decisions Requirements Apply if you have… Proven track record in hardware development with multiple successful product launches Strong understanding of RF communication technologies and modem requirements Experience in evaluating and improving existing hardware products Ability to balance technical excellence with practical constraints (performance, size, cost) Strong leadership skills with experience managing contractors or teams Nice to have: Background in cellular networks Knowledge of computer networking Experience with antenna design, parameters, and RF component chain selection Low-level embedded software experience (Yocto Linux, drivers, U-Boot) Apply now and help shape the future of autonomous systems at Elsight.
