DESCRIPTION This role is all about making systems that have never been made before. Building and integrating complex components, working with cross-functional engineering teams, and designing devices that live up to high expectations. This role requires an engineer who is not afraid to take on challenges, and knows how to balance innovation with practicality. You will work with a team of electrical and cross-functional engineers to define the electrical components of a system, assemble models that predict the behavior of those components, perform analyses to confirm functionality and performance, and look for opportunities to constantly improve the new designs for higher efficiency, improved accuracy, etc. For this role, having familiarity with a variety of simulation tools and platforms will prove immensely helpful, but it shouldn’t stop a candidate who is open and willing to learn and unlock new skills to take on any of the following technical tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS in EE or related fields Experience with FE solvers and simulation tools (e.g. Ansys HFSS, Q3D, Maxwell, etc.). Experience with design and simulation of analog & mixed-mode circuits and systems. Experience with standard EE lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, waveform generators, etc.). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MS or PhD degree in EE or related fields.3+ years of industry experience Strong communication skills and systematic, rigorous approach to engineering. Experience working on multidisciplinary projects in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Experience with system modeling and platforms (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, Verilog-A/MS, etc.). Experience with A/MS circuits analysis tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso, HSpice, PSpice, Familiarity with Signal and Power Integrity design principles and common practices. Prior Custom Silicon T/O experience and familiarity with ASIC manufacturing processes.
