Requirements We'd love to see the following work experience on your resume: • 2+ years of retail experience working with customers on a selling floor and/or checkout area. Good work history and longevity at an employer is a plus. • Good communication and customer service skills via face-to-face and phone, with a varying customer base • Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision and get the tasks completed • Good computer skills to be able to ring customers, look up inventory, receive product • Ability to assist customers with product inquiries • Ability to complete basic math & measurements • Hardware store experience with product knowledge desired Physical Requirements • Neat and presentable appearance • Professional demeanor • Able to stand for long periods • Frequently needed to walk the store and occasionally climb step stool or ladder • Able to communicate verbally with customers • Able to read computer screens and price tags with small print • Often required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions to assist customers.
