Job Description We are currently looking to hire experienced Hardware / Server Troubleshooting Technician candidates that have a fundamental understanding and/or hands on experience troubleshooting computer hardware. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. Job Duties: Diagnose and repair failures with computer / server hardware and electronic circuit board assemblies Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and capability to get the IP address from the network card, ifconfig, ipconfig, etc. Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components such as: RAM, CPU, Network Cards (NIC), Motherboard, PSU, etc. Exhibit proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment. Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Skills: Relevant certifications and/or an IT related degree (Associates or Bachelors) is a huge plus Thorough knowledge of computer hardware components (building / troubleshooting / etc) Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills Very good communication abilities Exceptional organizing and time-management skills Work experience as a computer technician and/or computer building hobbyist We're looking for someone with: Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
