DESCRIPTION This is a unique hardware design position that starts at product concept and continues all the way through to mass production. You will own the design, integration, and validation of rigid boards, printed flexible circuits, and overall system-level solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You will be working daily with multi-functional technology teams in a fast-paced environment. There will be opportunities for international travel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent 8+ years of industry experience Strong Electrical engineering fundamentals including high speed design, analog and digital design, multi-feature system architecture and electrical design trade offs Expertise in Schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude Exposure to solving unwanted coupling and interference between subsystems Proven track record of leading dynamic multi-functional teams Familiarity with the challenges of taking a product from early architecture through to production Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues Good fundamentals of Signal and Power Integrity Experience with low voltage power regulation and delivery Prototype design and validation with custom silicon experience Experience with using scripting languages to assist with hardware development Broad experience across different applications and technologies Ability to analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
