The iPhone team is looking for experienced, enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to influence the integrity of the iPhone electrical design process throughout the product integration cycle. Using your skills in system modeling and electronics to encapsulate complex systems, you can make a difference in how iPhones are designed. DESCRIPTION This is a unique hardware system modeling position that begins at product concept and continues all the way through to mass production. You will own the creation and refinement of system electrical models comprising components, behaviors, and interfaces that generate a platform to enable high-value workflows. Additionally, you will identify and develop use-cases and benefits of these models to build value over time. A successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, proactively recognize and understand various needs from stakeholders, help identify and distribute best practices, and be comfortable preparing and presenting technical content between the working and executive levels. There will be opportunities for international travel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent 5+ years industry experience Experienced with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML tools such as Cameo, or similar Experience with engineering highly complex and integrated systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MS in Systems Engineering High degree of knowledge and comfort in traversing up and down levels of system abstraction Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software product development processes in order to approach problems flexibly Use of scripting languages to assist with hardware development and analysis (Python, OCL and Groovy strongly desired) Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
