Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something. The Hardware Engineering team is seeking enthusiastic engineers to join the team to characterize Hardware under development. This is a System Engineering position that entails working with multi-functional groups to continually innovate the iPhone products during the R&D phase. You will be based in the Bangalore area and will have an active engagement with the Hardware, Module and Design & Validation teams in Apple. DESCRIPTION The Hardware Systems Engineer will be in charge of developing customized test systems to test the electrical performance of Apple products. The ideal candidate is an EE with good scripting skills, and most of all, enjoys shipping a working system instead of crafting on paper. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or greater, plus min of 2 years of technical work experience Hands-on experience in prototype work and functional verification specifically with electronics Experience in developing automated tests and measurement systems; Prior experience with scripting (Python, C, Shell) Hands-on lab equipment: digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power supply, data logger...etc. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong documentation and interpersonal skills - strong technical writing Comfortable working in a quickly changing environment; Confirmed ability to work independently under high pressure and dynamic environment
