Internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks in duration. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain tools and automation frameworks to support hardware and system validation across Meta’s infrastructure Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, mechanical, power, thermal, and software engineers) to understand and optimize system architecture and performance Design, implement, and execute test plans for hardware products and server systems throughout the product lifecycle Analyze data from large-scale server fleets and diagnose hardware and system failures using data analytical tools Interface with internal and external teams to integrate and connect test frameworks and tools Document and communicate findings, test results, and optimizations to team members and stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience with object-oriented programming and coding in languages such as Python, Rust, Go, C++, Java, PHP, or Ruby Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments Intent to return to degree program after completion of the internship/co-op Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualifications Experience with latest server and CPU architecture and system-level components Experience in hacking, prototyping, and/or overclocking or related work $6,688/month to $11,467/month + benefits
Responsibilities
The intern will develop and maintain tools for hardware validation and collaborate with various engineering teams to optimize system performance. They will also design and execute test plans and analyze data to diagnose hardware failures.
