JOB SUMMARY:

The customer will provide the required hardware components for installation. Installers will be responsible for:

• Mounting and wiring the hardware inside trailers
• Supplying any necessary wiring, cables, raceways, or mounting accessories not included in the kit

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent preferred
• Experience: 1–3 years in a hands-on hardware support or technician role
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and other IT hardware.
• Diagnose hardware issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Assist in setting up network equipment like routers, switches, and cabling.
• Perform system upgrades, hardware imaging, and component replacements (RAM, hard drives, etc.).
• Maintain inventory of hardware equipment and document repairs.
• Provide on-site or remote technical support to users regarding hardware issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
• Collaborate with IT support and systems teams for escalated technical problems.
