We are now looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team and support our continued growth.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
Role: Full time
Location: Bondi Junction NSW 2022

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent).
· Demonstrated experience of one year as a Hardware Technician, preferably in a fast-paced repair service environment.
· Proven skills in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware, peripherals, and mobile device
· Strong knowledge of electronic components, testing methods, and electrical specifications
· Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
· Familiarity with Australian workplace health and safety standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

· Diagnose. repair, and maintain hardware components of computers, laptops, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
· Assemble, test, and install new computer systems, hardware components, and peripheral devices.
· Detect and replace faulty parts, including motherboards, power supplies, screens, batteries, and peripheral hardware.
· Conduct systematic testing and debugging of hardware faults to restore devices to full working order.
· Configure, upgrade, and install hardware systems and software to ensure performance optimisation.
· Carry out component-level and board-level repairs, including soldering and micro-soldering tasks.
· Manage and maintain spare parts inventory to support timely repair services.
· Recover data and troubleshoot storage-related issues where possible.
· Provide technical support and clear communication to clients on repair processes, costs, and timelines.
· Ensure compliance with software security protocols and other regulations while managing hardware configurations.
