YOUR SKILLS

• Minimum MBO-4 or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, ICT, or a similar field.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting, for example in the rail, aviation, or automotive sectors, is a plus.
• Able to work under pressure and provide service both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in maintaining hardware.
• Experience with Maximo is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required, Dutch is a plus.

In this role, you will be the expert responsible for analyzing and resolving hardware issues. The ICNG trains are delivered ready for use, but they often still have some issues. Your job is to ensure that all systems are working at their best. How will you tackle this?

You’ll begin by thoroughly inspecting the new train and identifying the faults at the component level (hardware). Then, you’ll determine the steps needed to fix these issues and test the systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting various train components
• Tracing and analyzing faults down to the component level
• Performing repairs, testing, and evaluating performance
• Suggesting improvements to prevent future issues
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to develop the best repair strategies
