DESCRIPTION Apple has an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced, proficient Platform Integration EPM, one who can persuasively adapt to Apple’s HW Technologies team’s dynamic environment, to cut through a cloud of competing multi-functional priorities among the three legs of SoC/HW/SW Systems teams to help steer a high quality, well represented effort from a SoC Concept Alignment through to the productization of the platform. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field and 10+ years relevant experience Proven experience in driving design choices that determine the necessity of silicon in a system, including the associated system-level architecture, design, productization trade-offs, and risks, as well as the end-to-end platform integration support model required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Leadership skills and ability to build positive relationships across various product development teams and technologies and to encourage team members. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills and able to navigate problem solving multi-functionally until full resolution is achieved. Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to drive the team forward. Able to generate clear and accurate visualizations of quantitative data. Equally comfortable in big-picture strategy and deep technical discussions. Able to comprehend, communicate, and manage complex design tradeoff decisions, with superior attention to detail.
Responsibilities
The Engineering Program Manager will lead cross-functional efforts between SoC, hardware, and software teams to align concepts and drive productization. They are responsible for managing complex design trade-offs, mitigating risks, and ensuring high-quality platform integration throughout the product lifecycle.
