JOB SUMMARY:

Hailiang Copper Texas is seeking a highly organized and experienced Hardware Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our hardware warehouse. This position is critical in ensuring efficient inventory control, timely material handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in warehouse operations, and a keen understanding of industrial hardware and materials used in manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Familiarity with industrial hardware, fasteners, tools, and copper manufacturing components is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions (heat, cold, noise).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing hardware and related materials.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations using the company’s ERP system.
  • Oversee the picking, packing, and preparation of hardware kits and parts for production or outbound shipping.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Train and manage warehouse personnel, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Work closely with the procurement, production, and maintenance departments to ensure materials availability and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for material flow, space optimization, and inventory management.
  • Monitor hardware stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as shipping/receiving logs, inventory reports, and safety checklists.
