Position: Holton   Members of our marketing team work on all aspects of the brand and its portfolio of products, including consumer insights, advertising, consumer promotion, shopper marketing, new products, sales, operations and finance. As a member of this team, your responsibilities could include leading the development of integrated marketing efforts, leading advertising and packaging development, promotional and website development, creating and executing media strategies and plans, championing new products, advancing consumer insights and brand strategy, and collaborating with sales teams to develop strategic partnerships. The marketing team is an integral part of the organization’s overall success.Position Overview The Harvest Hide-On team lead position requires a person who accepts nothing less than greatness from themselves, their team, their customers and their suppliers. The chosen candidate will be a hands on, proactive leader of both people and processes for the hide-on harvest area, through supporting and building upon safety, quality, production and member engagement improvement initiatives (RFID, Workforce, Redzone, Safety Observations, result blocks, etc). The candidate will work hand in hand with hide-off, the barn, maintenance and QA to ensure a quality product is made every time in a safe and efficient manner, they will function as a technical and business resource in areas of system operations; work towards continuous improvements in performance measures by leading actions for assigned duties; and establish and sustain effective relationships with all Members in order to foster an environment where innovation, cooperation and ownership are used to solve problems.Responsibilities •Coach Members of the team to deliver continuous improvement in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, cost of goods manufactured, customer service and Member development•Write and conduct performance reviews•Own and champion human safety, humane handling and sow cleanliness for the hide-on department•Own line efficiency, chain speed, carcass yield and HMI for the hide-on department•Complete production-related paperwork/duties and work orders including SSOP packets, audit programs, velocity reports, inputting Redzone downtime, member attendance/points• Create and foster a culture that champions, models and rewards learning agility, humble candor, personal commitment and collaborative teamwork•    Partner, communicate and collaborate with internal and external departments and customers to achieve superlative results such as hog barn, hide-off, USDA, QA, maintenance, member services, learning & development, and timekeeping• Work with L&D to move members quickly and fairly through their result blocks in a manner that balances member development needs with the needs of the business• Facilitate efficient and effective tailgate meetings for members that communicate relevant information in a timely manner to all members of the team• Understand staffing needs of lines and maintain budgeted resources to maximize line output and lowest cost production results•Evaluate, coach and guide Members in need of development and lead a progressive disciplinary process by determining what, if any, discipline is needed in collaboration with the harvest coordinator•Be a data driven short and long term problem solver for the harvest department•Assist the harvest coordinator in owning and championing “safe start” by ensuring overall team safety through verifying that all members are in the correct positions, on time, with the right tools to do their job at start of every shiftEducation High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience 1-3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred 2 years of Harvest experience preferred  Skills Bi-Lingual knowledge of Spanish and English preferred Demonstrated experience in providing positive feedback and coaching on performance improvement Desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility Excellent written, verbal and people skills  Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently Ability to lead by example and involve others in the decision-making process Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities Ability to innovate and implement Other Requirements   Must be able to occasionally lift and hand grip up to 50 pounds and pull up to 60 pounds Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift Willingness to travel to other facilities to learn their processes and expand knowledge Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check Benefits and Compensation Applicants must be eligible to work in the country where this job is located, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
