These roles are hands-on and physically active, working in our growing rooms to ensure mushrooms are harvested and handled to the highest quality standards. You will be part of a dedicated team where attention to detail and consistency is highly valued. Permanent, part time Based in Hornby, Christchurch Roster: Saturday - Wednesday; or Thursday - Monday Key Responsibilities Harvesting & Quality Carefully pick mushrooms by hand according to our specifications Identify and report any crop or quality issues to supervisors promptly Packing & Handling Place harvested product into crates or trays ensuring minimal handling damage Follow hygiene and food safety procedures at all times Teamwork & Workplace Safety Work well with colleagues to meet daily targets and maintain a positive team environment Adhere to Health & Safety policies, use PPE correctly and report hazards or incidents What You’ll Bring Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for sustained periods, including standing, bending and lifting Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Positive attitude, reliable attendance and a strong team focus Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts and weekends Previous experience in harvesting, horticulture or packing is an advantage, but full training will be provided Why You’ll Love Working With Us You’ll join a hardworking, down-to-earth team who take pride in growing and delivering the very best product.
