JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking someone to assist our team cutting thatching straw this summer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and traditional farm machinery. This role involves the cutting of thatching straw through use of tractor-towed reaper binders, ensuring that the crops are harvested efficiently and safely. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and tools used during the harvesting process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in agriculture or a similar field is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and maintain power tools and hand tools.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting and work long hours in varying weather conditions.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and equipment repair is essential.
