REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a relevant field.
• Experience in data analysis within an agricultural, forestry, or industrial context is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in data tools such as Microsoft Excel; familiarity with databases or statistical software is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to team members.
• Ability to work independently in a data-driven, office-based environment.

• Monitor and analyze data, amongst others, on:
• Harvesting (per site, per harvesting team):
• Volumes, costs, moisture content, quality and hygiene, and tree species.
• Rehabilitation (per site, per rehab team)
• Hectares cleared, herbicides used, costs, tree species, quality.
• Transport (per transport company, per truck):
• Kilometres transport, cost/km, cost/ton product, fuel efficiency, weight average load, truck availability, downtime.

The above data should be used to identify trends and outliers to improve operational performance and reduce costs.

• Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports for the Financial Director and the Harvesting and Supply Director, covering cost analysis and operational outcomes.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data collection and propose enhancements to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to SoN management for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data is used effectively for strategic planning and operational improvements.
