Would like a self-motivated person, able to read and write, willing to work a 12-hour shift and be on a call rotation.  Safety minded individual with some Electrical maintenance training preferred but willing to train.  Be a strong team player with ability to climb ladders and work at different heights without fear.  Familiar with lockout/tagout, be able to stand for periods of time, and walk on concrete floors. Perform PM on a daily basis and get to know the machinery and what makes it run properly.  Candidate should be able to schedule jobs as to urgency as well as work with PPE.    Qualifications Candidate is to troubleshoot, locate and diagnose problems with equipment in the hatchery.  Maintain repair records on a daily basis and be able to perform preventative care.  Be able to stoop, bend on knees and crawl if necessary to do the job.  Be able to be on call on weekends.
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hatchery equipment to ensure proper operation. They must also perform daily preventative maintenance and maintain accurate repair records.
