As our Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator, you will be working as part of the National Logistics Team. The site is easily accessible from Braintree, Chelmsford, Wickford, Basildon, Rayleigh, Southend on Sea, Heybridge, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting into the National Haulage Service Desk Manager, the successful Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator on a day-to-day basis will be carrying out the following (not exhaustive)

  • Liaising regularly with Hauliers over the phone
  • Daily Haulage administration tasks including mileage queries, inputting haulage rates, and the process of tickets and payments within our systems
  • Liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority levels both internally and externally
  • Regular engagement with Business Administration team, Planners and other internal teams
  • Providing excellent customer service

We will also require suitable candidates for the role of Haulage Service Desk Coordinator to:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have proven experience within an administrative environment
  • Evidence good experience working within a fast paced environment
  • Have strong initiative and excellent problem solving skills
  • Possess good attention to detail
  • Be a strong team player engaging with various internal teams
  • Be confident enough to liaise with a variety of teams/stakeholders at all levels
