Dayforce: Hawaii-Manager-Operations [Pay Range: $67,000 - $78,500]
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direction of the General Manager, implement company policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and successful operation of golf, tours, and transportation operations. Responsible for supervising the operations team to ensure high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Percent Time Spent Essential Job Functions

50%

  • Oversee operations of Golf, Tour, and Transportation services;
  • Supervise and train coordinators and drivers, including evaluating performance;
  • Determine and enforce work procedures;
  • Compile daily and monthly financial reports to various departments.

30%

  • Collaborate with business partners and internal departments.
  • Assign drivers based on operational needs, create and manage employee schedules, including managing timekeeping in the time & attendance system.

20%

  • Maintain accurate operational records and generate reports to support performance improvement.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Possess minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in operations management, transportation coordination, or a related field.
  • Possess at least five (5) years managerial experience, including supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including all levels of staff, business partners, and internal departments.
  • Possess fluency in both English and Japanese, with the ability to perform all job duties in both languages.
  • Possess excellent customer services skills.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Able to implement efficient methods and procedures for scheduling and workflow to maximize department effectiveness.
  • Able to delegate tasks appropriately, manage shifting priorities, and maintain control in dynamic work environments.
  • Possess sound working knowledge of Japanese customs and culture.
  • Proficient in workforce management systems such as Dayforce (or similar platforms) and possess strong work experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
  • Possess valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
