Description Assists customers by loading hay, feed, and merchandise into customer vehicles. Receiving merchandise and stocking duties. Requirements Essential Functions Load merchandise for customers Move, handle, and transport products, materials, or supplies Operate tools and equipment safely Maintain inventory records Perform general stocking duties Perform general cleaning duties Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information Greet and talk politely with customers Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude Function as a team member and get along with others Adhere to daily work schedule Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed Work in a fast-paced environment Perform other duties as needed or assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities Basic Math and computer skills Sales skills Industry knowledge Customer service Positive attitude Friendly and approachable Self-motivated Multi-tasking Physical requirements Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting, Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 110lbs (Hay, Feed, Propane) Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 80lbs (Sales, Sacker) Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift Push/pull a loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack Push/pull a loaded stock cart Operate heavy equipment; Squeeze, Farmhand, forklifts, and Tractor (will train) Work in weather extremes Work around hay, dust, coal, and other outdoor plant pollens Work around animals; fowl, rodents, sheep, etc. Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in operating forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment preferred Previous industry experience preferred Age requirement Minimum age 18 Additional Navajo speaking preferred Benefits available: Vacation / Paid Time Off Sick Leave Profit Sharing Employee Service Rewards Employee Charge Program Development Plans Health Insurance Disability Insurance If you need assistance completing the application process please contact Human Resources at (505) 722-4366 ext 143.
