Description

Minimum shall hold Diploma 3 Degree (D3), preferable in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience and training in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Equipment
Minimum of 3 years experience in the inspection procedure for the electrical package equipment, and electrical apparatus and high voltage equipment/device
Qualified and experienced in witnessing and technical reporting on electrical, instrumentation and controls equipment, materials or installations / assemblies in packaged equipment.
Experienced and competent with ATEX and BS EN / IECEx 60079-10-1 requirements (as applicable) and will be required to inspect the equipment and review the certification documentation to confirm compliance to the contractual specification.
“Experienced in evaluation and review of the discipline specific documentation which include but no limited to the following:

  • Equipment Hazardous Area Schedules - IECEx (ATEX) – Examination Type Certification Certificate from a Notified Body (NoBo)

  • Product Quality Assurance Certificate from a NoBo.

  • EC - Declaration of Conformity

  • Evidence of Technical File being lodged with a NoBo where applicable.

  • Detailed Inspection Reports in accordance with BS EN or IECEx 60079 Part 17, with inspections performed by COMPEX certified technicians.”
