JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), the Research Assistant will provide research and administrative support, as well as a number of day-to-day operations of the research laboratory. The primary responsibility of the Research Assistant will be to assist with the administration and research efforts for the Health Behaviours in School-Aged Children (HBSC) Study, including but not limited to: completion of jurisdictional and research committee applications, preparation and editing of data collection and recruitment documents, and follow up with schools to facilitate completion of the survey. The Research Assistant will work collaboratively with other members of the Bully Lab Laboratory, which includes a multidisciplinary team of research collaborators, trainees and staff, including post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, research and administrative staff. The Research Assistant will also work alongside members of the HBSC team, including research staff at Queen’s and other universities.
