What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a HC driver with long distance driving experience to join their operation based in Orange NSW. This is an afternoon shift role where you will be delivering products between Orange, Sydney and Newcastle. Shift times will commence from 3:30pm and will work through until the following morning and as required. Key areas:

• Deliver timber freight between Orange, Sydney and Newcastle locations
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus

Are you the one?

• Open HC/MC licence and experience
• Experience delivering timber freight intrastate
• Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
• History of safe work practices & excellent communication
