JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Combination Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and products to and from construction sites in a safe and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid and current Heavy Combination (HC) or higher class driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
  • Overtime

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and drive company trucks to transport materials and products to designated locations.
  • Unload frames and trusses using appropriate equipment such as hiab cranes.
  • Plan efficient routes to minimise delivery time and fuel consumption, while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues or concerns.
