JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. The Support Worker will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a support worker or care role is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
  • Understanding of the needs of individuals in care homes or home care settings is advantageous.
  • A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Support clients in engaging with social activities and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Drive clients to appointments or activities as required.
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
