Description
Our team is searching for an experienced HR Systems Specialist for a 12-month contract to support and enhance our People & Culture enabling technology, with a primary focus on Oracle HCM Cloud and associated SaaS platforms. This role plays a critical part in optimising our current HR systems, delivering remaining Oracle HR modules, and ensuring an intuitive, efficient end-user experience. You’ll work closely with HR, Technology, Finance, and other corporate functions to drive continuous improvement, system stability, and value realisation from our HCM investment. The Role Reporting into the Manager People Operations & Systems, you will act as a key escalation point for HR system issues, while also contributing to system optimisation, release management, and future enhancements. The role combines hands-on operational support with strategic optimisation, requiring strong technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and a process-driven mindset. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring Oracle continues to evolve in line with business needs, industry best practice, and Oracle’s product roadmap. Key Responsibilities System Operations Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving system issues Maintain and update process maps, operating procedures, and user documentation in partnership with subject matter experts Support ongoing system monitoring, audit, and process compliance Perform general system maintenance and configuration updates Optimisation & Continuous Improvement Support quarterly Oracle HCM release cycles, including configuration updates, regression testing, and adoption of new features Manage BAU enhancement requests, ensuring appropriate triage, testing, impact analysis, and documentation Facilitate requirements gathering, scope definition, and feasibility analysis for system changes Partner with HR SMEs to resolve user pain points and improve system engagement Maintain oversight of system integrations and support ongoing improvements Promote best practice and industry standards while driving efficiency and cost-effective delivery Monitor Oracle Cloud product updates and roadmap, raising Customer Connect ideas and workarounds where appropriate Prioritise and manage severity-one issues, ensuring clear communication and interim solutions About You You are a systems-focused HR professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and working across functions.
