  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, databases, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and PowerBI. Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of software deployment processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal IT team members and business stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements.
  • Familiarity with health care or health care related organizations
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Demonstrated business savvy to work effectively with others to achieve key business and technology goals.

Responsibilities

Role Requirements:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain HCM applications using various programming languages and tools, including SQL, JavaScript, and PowerBI.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to integrate HCM systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • System Configuration: Configure and maintain UKG Pro WFM systems to meet business requirements, including Timekeeping, Accruals, Scheduling, Data Hub, and Time Clocks.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage HR technology projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR teams, business partners, and IT to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to HCM applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of HCM applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application development processes, configurations, and user guides.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing enhancements to optimize system performance and user experience.
  • Report Writing: Develop and maintain reports using PowerBI, SQL, and JavaScript to support data-driven decision-making.

Support and Mentorship:

  • Act as a consultant to help programs optimize applications for their unique operational contexts.
  • Collaborate with department heads, program leadership, and IT leadership to identify and address technology application support needs.
  • Offer ongoing support and coaching to staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Partnerships:

  • Adopt a customer service focus mindset and implement across team
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, and IT teams to support the use and optimization of HCM systems
  • Work with Programs and Operations on SCO corporate projects and initiatives
  • Work with customers to identify areas for improvement
  • Work with Applications and Project Management Teams and IT leadership to establish Project Management best practices, policies, and procedures.

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior managers to develop KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting process. Reports will be provided weekly and monthly
  • Provide weekly status reporting on application support, projects, and wide-spread incidents
  • Complete Incident forms where appropriate

Perform other professional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by supervisor.
