JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HCM Process Analyst Senior to evaluate, design, and improve our Human Capital Management (HCM) processes as we transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role will partner closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, support system configurations and enhancements, and ensure a seamless employee experience across the hire-to-retire lifecycle. This senior role requires an in-depth understanding of Human Resources best practices and functions, HCM systems, process redesign, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will serve as a key subject matter expert, driving efficiency, innovation, and strategic change in our HR operations.
This is a two-year limited term position with full benefits.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations or HCM system support.
  • 3+ years’ experience in process improvement and change management.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
  • Experience developing and conducting training and related support materials.
  • Experience using HCM systems (i.e., Workday, Banner/Ellucien, etc.).
  • Excellent process mapping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyze, document, and map current-state HR business processes across talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to define and implement optimized, future-state processes leveraging technology (Workday, UKG, Banner/Ellucien, etc.).
  • Conduct process gap analysis, recommend improvements, and track adoption and effectiveness.
  • Support HR system implementation and enhancements by providing clear business requirements, testing support, and end-user feedback.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials. Facilitate training and develop job aids and training materials for employees, supervisors and HR team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs, analyzing trends, and implementing changes.
  • Facilitate change management associated with process improvements. Work closely with the HRIS team and impacted users to ensure a thorough understanding of processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and other stakeholders to gather input and align on process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal standards, and data privacy policies.
  • Design and test business processes and ensure they align with company objectives and compliance standards.
  • Develop and update job aids and materials that outline system configuration and organization specific business process.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide system support, and implement enhancements or fixes as needed.
  • Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and post-implementation support.
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term system maintenance.

    Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
