Description

To be responsible for call centre support with call answering, and data entry for transport requests.
The post holder will also provide basic administrative support to the Local Health Courier Services (HCS) function ensuring that an efficient and professional service is provided at all times.
Working in line with standard operating procedures, the post holder will undertake basic administrative duties and provide data entry support to fleet and transport scheduling systems on behalf of HCS.
The NWSSP Health Courier Service (HCS) has a vacancy for a Call Centre Administrative Assistant at our base in Cardiff on a permanent basis. The role will require a dynamic, forward thinking individual to work in a busy call centre environment. Duties will include answering routine, urgent and emergency calls, entering information onto our logistics planning system and allocating journeys via electronic means and other administrative duties.
The HCS provides the transportation of non-patient items including pathology, medical equipment, medical records, blood and associated blood products etc. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed developing team.
Welsh Language skills are essential for this role. We are looking for competency level 3+ in speaking, understanding, reading and writing in Welsh. This level is also known as intermediate level. You can check skills your skills level here: Welsh Language Level Descriptors
