An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to work within the Mental Health In-patients service based at Stobhill Hospital. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our professional and dedicated team. The post-holder will be responsible for contributing to the care and support of people as part of an agreed plan of care which involves the use of a strength based recovery focused approach that proactively involves the person. You will be required to be undertake duties without direct supervision, work in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals / agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies. You will be supported to enhance your skills and knowledge and have access to training as well as participation in regular Nurse Line Management Supervision.
Previous knowledge and experience of working in health & social care and supporting patients with Mental Health conditions would be advantageous although full training will be offered during the induction process.
The hours of this post are worked on a continental or 4/7 shift pattern including weekends and night duty.
