To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant).
• Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant equipment; Caterpillar Haul Tucks, Caterpillar Dozers, Graders, Hitachi Excavators and ancillary equipment.
• Proven experience with major components, including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque, converters, final drives and minor components such as pumps and cylinders.
• Ensure all HSES policies and procedures are followed and maintained.

We are currently seeking experienced HD Fitters to join our team at our Foxleigh mine. You will repair all mining equipment to OEM specifications ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely manner.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Repair all mining equipment to OEM specifications ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Carry out repairs to mining equipment as to the OEM Manual (Original Engineering Manufacture) or as to best engineering practices as directed by Supervisor.
• Comply with Macmahon incident management procedures especially ensuring notification, reporting and investigation timeframes are achieved.
• Actively advocate and motivate others to demand high standards of safety performance.
