Job Description The Griffith Graduate Research School (GGRS) is the dedicated point of contact for all Higher Degree by Research students (PhDs, Doctorates and Research Masters programs) and governs the strategic direction for the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) agenda at Griffith University. The position will report to the Senior Manager, HDR Operations, and will: Oversee the program of work relating to promoting and enabling HDR partnerships Coordinate PhD and doctoral internships, placements, and agreements in both domestic and international settings Oversee and promote the growth of the industry PhD scholarship and other internal and external schemes. About you The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience, and/or an alternate equivalent combination of knowledge, training and/or experience. You will also have: An ability to work and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. An ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively as part of a cross-functional team. Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills and experience in contract management. Demonstrated administrative and business process improvement skills A commitment to student learning outcomes and the student experience in the context of graduate research education Broad knowledge of current trends in the Australian Higher Education sector with experience in coordinating an expanding area of business activity will be highly regarded. What we can offer This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time base salary for a HEW Level 7 is in the range $101,068 - $109,496 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation.
