Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
  • Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
  • Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Conduct quality checks on baked products to ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and appearance.
