Description

As a Head Baker you will oversee all aspects of bread, pastry, and dough production. This includes recipe development, production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and staff training. The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of artisan baking techniques. Contract is for 48 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional baking experience, including artisan breads and pastries
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a bakery or kitchen setting
  • Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Creativity and passion for baking innovation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
