Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Server to join our team at a reputable restaurant at The Italian Caffé Enoteca - Please do not apply if you do not have expirience in the Bar as well as the floor As the Head Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and assisting with menu selections
- Oversee the dining area to ensure tables are set up properly, clean, and organized
- Train and supervise servers to ensure they provide efficient and friendly service
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and place orders as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Make Coffees
-Make Cocktails
- Know about measures
- Confident working independently as well as part of the team
- Have a laugh with customers and a positive attitude even during our busiest days.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality industry is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
