Company Description Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking a talented and creative Head Bartender to join our team. As the Head Bartender at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing our beverage program. You will design and curate unique and innovative cocktail menus, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and supervise the bartending team. Your passion for mixology, attention to detail, and leadership skills will contribute to creating a memorable and vibrant bar atmosphere for our guests. Job Description Create and develop a wide range of craft cocktails, while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation Curate a diverse selection of spirits, wines, and beers to complement the cocktail menu Train and supervise the bartending team, ensuring their professional development and adherence to service standards Maintain proper inventory control and monitor bar supplies and equipment Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and providing personalized recommendations Develop and implement bar policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative food and cocktail pairings Stay updated on industry trends and participate in industry events and competitions Qualifications Previous experience as a Head Bartender or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and craft cocktail techniques Creative flair and ability to craft unique and innovative cocktails Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for providing outstanding customer service Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
