Company Description We are looking for a charismatic Head Bartender to shake things up with us as part of the team at The Hoxton, Southwark in our Seabird Restaurant. The Hoxton, Southwark, the third Hoxton in our hometown of London. This London borough is known for its colourful history. Right here is where famous London pub The Prince Albert once stood. Patrons would bet on sport from their barstool, handing fistfuls of cash to the pub’s very own licensed bookie! We have 192 bedrooms, 2 restaurants- Albie & Seabird and our first Working From_ location not just in London but Europe! Albie is our all-day neighbourhood dining spot, drawing inspiration from the French and Italian Riviera. Seabird is our rooftop restaurant on the 14th floor, boasting an impressive raw bar, London’s longest oyster list and panoramic views of the city. Job Description Lead the bar team in creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves Be creative and share ideas to develop our menu – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trends Know your product and systems inside out Lead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and develop, the Hox way Qualifications Previous Bartender experience, ready for a step up with great wine & cocktail knowledge A natural people person – you’re confident behind the bar and brilliant with guests You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues You’re not precious.
