SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a busy bar or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, a love for great drinks and customer service, and the leadership skills to inspire a high-performing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring smooth operations during service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver high standards of customer service.
  • Manage stock levels, orders, and deliveries, ensuring all products are fresh and available.
  • Create and update drinks menus, including cocktails, wines, and seasonal specials.
  • Monitor bar costs and profitability, including waste control and efficient use of stock.
  • Ensure all licensing laws and health & safety regulations are followed.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organised bar area at all times.
