WVSSAC certification

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFIED TEACHERS

New TEACHERS that have been hired after July 1, 2012 who apply to coach on the secondary level (grades 6-12) must have completed the three hour training session provided by Kanawha County Schools and complete the On-line Concussion Awareness Course through the KCS Staff Development Site
The training courses will be taught throughout the year.
Cost of the course will be $15.00
This requirement will allow new teachers hired after July 1, 2012 by Kanawha County Schools to be able to coach on the first day of practice of each specified sport identifie
