JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, ensuring that our restaurant consistently provides outstanding service and hospitality.
The total pay of OTE 50K is broken down into a salary, plus bonuses and tronc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a head chef in a busy restaurant setting, with a strong understanding of culinary techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
  • Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.

  • Work to recipes and specs set out by central team
  • Oversee and manage financial costs including GP and Labour costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure all team members perform at their best.
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, promoting teamwork and a positive work atmosphere.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to meet our high standards.
