Ristorante Boccaccio is reopening late spring-early summer. Boccaccio is a renowned Italian restaurant located inside the Columbus Centre with a great history and fame in all GTA and not only.
We are looking to hire a motivated and passionate professional head chef to help us manage the kitchen and the staff at the Columbus Centre. Knowledge of Italian cuisine and techniques is mandatory.
Food at Boccaccio is made fresh, with Italian and local ingredients, following classic and regional Italian cuisine recipes. We use only fresh pasta and the best quality ingredients to ensure top service and unique culinary experiences. We also want to be a Slow Food restaurant follwing Good-Clean-Fair practises and be the best and first fully suistainable restaurant in the City.
The Head Chef reports directly to General Manager and Executive Chef. You will cook and prepare a variety of food products including the mains of meats and seafood, appetizers, vegetables, sauces, and other food products in classic Italian & Regional cuisine using a variety of equipment and utensils according to kitchen protocol and standards.
