Head Cook / Head chef required for a care home in driving distance of Norwich. Shift patterns are brilliant, it is 40hrs a week, week one is 3 days a week and week two is 4 days a week, this 3 and 4 day rotation is repeated every 2 weeks. The shifts are between 7am and 6pm, with the 3 or 4 day rotation thay have in place, you get lots of time off as well.
The role
as a head chef / head cook, you will run the kitchen, budget, order food, ensure the menus meet the required dietary needs (including soft diets & allergens). With it being a care home, the whole day is very much about a routine, so having the meals ready on time is really important. This role will include all the standard duties of a head chef / head cook.
Experience

The care home is looking for a candidate with head cook, head chef or sous chef expeirence, you will be very reliable, great time keeping, good knowledge of diets etc and able to work in a calm way. With it being a care home, you will need to be able to be put through the DBS check and will need food hygiene certificates as well.
