JOB INTRODUCTION

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to lead and support food production in a prestigious education contract at Bournemouth University. The candidate will be working for Compass Group, a multinational contract foodservice company, the largest contract foodservice company in the world employing over 500,000 people worldwide.
The successful candidate will be a talented and experienced Head Chef seeking a new challenge and looking to progress.
Responsible for food throughout campus including student dining, pop up dining, alongside a busy conference and events business.

• The Head Chef will lead a team of chefs and be responsible for food production for our various outlets throughout campus.
• The Head chef will be expected to work to very high standards with the food production team delivery a breakfast, lunch, hospitality, and bespoke events service. With the aim of always offering great taste, innovation, nutrition, and value for money.
• The head chef will also be responsible for all aspects of Food Safety, Health and Safety and COSHH within the kitchen environment.
• You will adopt a very hands-on approach taking responsibility for food production covering student and BU staff feeding.
• You will plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the company’s reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients at all times based in the production kitchen.
