Cornwall Staff Agency are looking for a skilled and talented Head chef to help support our client’s well renowned award-winning luxury hotel, resort and spa.
Our client , a well renowned 5 star Hotel resort and spa, based in West Cornwall are looking to bolster the team with a talented head chef who has had previous experience working within a similar busy, high volume environment.
You will either be an experienced senior sous chef looking for their next step up or an ambitious head chef looking for that next ultimate challenge. We are looking for someobe who really wants to push the food, culture and the team further forward.
You will also need to be up to date with all Kitchen administration/hygiene/COSSH practices as well as all good cooking practices and be able to spot trends as well.
This operation consists of fantastic dining, events/conferences and weddings, so we are looking for an experienced candidates that can multi task, develop and orchestrate all of the food and beverage operations to harmoise alongside one another.
We are not looking for rosettes here but good cooking, using locally sourced suppliers and produced by a well trained and experienced kitchen brigade.
You will be highly organised and be able to work effectively under pressure at all times.
We are looking for candidates who have a good working knowledge and background in fine dining, small luxury hotels and have had exposure to weddings and events. You will have exemplary kitchen management skills and be able to delegate effectively and lead from the front.
