For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking a Head Chef who leads with creativity, culinary skill and commercial insight, and who is inspired by the opportunity to shape a distinctive culinary identity in an intimate luxury environment. Job Description Key Duties & Responsibilities Define and lead the hotel’s culinary direction and food concept, aligned with the overall strategy and positioning of the Colbert Collection Plan and manage food revenue, cost control and profitability, including menu pricing, waste reduction and efficient kitchen operations Develop, refine and execute seasonal and market‑driven menus, reflecting local trends, guest expectations and cultural sensitivities Take full ownership of food quality, consistency and presentation, ensuring the highest luxury standards at all times Lead and coordinate all kitchen operations, providing hands‑on leadership, training and development for the culinary team Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations, maintaining exemplary standards throughout all kitchen areas Collaborate closely with hotel management, suppliers and engineering on kitchen investments, equipment and ongoing improvement Qualifications How can you succeed in this role Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within the luxury hospitality segment, ideally in a refined hotel or high‑end dining environment Strong culinary identity with a passion for quality, creativity and modern luxury cuisine Demonstrated ability to manage food cost, budgeting and supplier relationships effectively Natural leader with experience in building, motivating and developing professional kitchen teams Hands‑on mindset with the ability to remain present in daily operations while leading by example Excellent organizational and communication skills Additional Information What You Can Expect At Minor Hotels Europe & Americas we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
