JOB SUMMARY

“Lakeside Bar & Grill” is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a proven track record of managing kitchen operations effectively, preferably with prior kitchen experience in a sports bar & grill environment. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and control processes.
  • Excellent food handling practices with a focus on hygiene and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with creativity in menu development.
  • Experience in food service operations, including catering or banquet management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails and distilled spirits in preferred.
  • Bartending skills, prior experience in managing a bar is preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
